WHO WE WORK WITH

Mayor’s Fund for London

Back in lockdown, we started building surplus-inspired ‘Create & Make’ boxes for the Mayor’s Fund for London’s HAF programme. These creative meal kits contained a mix of mostly surplus produce - from wonky apples and carrots to Heinz tomato passata from Germany!

Years later, we’re still proud to support MFL’s amazing work helping young Londoners and their families turn surplus ingredients into nutritious meals, build confidence in the kitchen and reduce food waste.

Juniper

In January 2026, StreetBox became Juniper’s fulfillment partner, supplying primary schools across Newham and Waltham Forest. This represented a completely new learning curve for us - managing timely deliveries at scale and sourcing a reliable mix of surplus and ‘regular’ produce.

Most importantly, the partnership allows us to play a part in getting more fresh, nutritious produce into schools at affordable prices - helping school kitchens provide healthy meals to thousands of young Londoners.

Ample

StreetBox works closely with Ample to help perfectly good produce find a home before it falls out of the food system. Ample connects with growers to identify farm-gate surplus-including fresh produce rejected because of its shape, size or appearance.

StreetBox helps bridge the gap by collecting, packing and distributing it to schools and community organisations. Together, we are building practical routes that ensure more good food is valued, eaten and put to proper use.

Haringey Community Food Network

StreetBox is an active member of the Haringey Community Food Network, a borough-wide network bringing together food banks, community kitchens, growers, suppliers and other organisations working to improve access to good food.

We also contribute to the network’s committee, sharing our experience of sourcing and distributing surplus produce and helping shape its wider work. Through HCFN, we can coordinate more closely with other local organisations, share resources and help build a fairer, more resilient food system across Haringey.
